FANNY SISSKIND Peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by family, Fanny Sisskind passed away at age 86, June 21, 2002 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Fanny was predeceased by her husband Louis Sisskind; sister Rose Zeitlin; brothers, Percy, Pacy, and Ike Packer. Fanny leaves to mourn, her daughters, Marsha (Stanley) Yaren, Carole (Robert) Walberg, Beverly (Larry) Cohn; sister Bessie Stern; grandchildren, Alana, Kara-Anne, Sean, Ryan, Dina, Megan; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service to be held at Hebrew Sick Benefit Cemetery, McPhillips Street, Monday, June 24, 11:30 a.m. graveside. The family is grateful for the kind and sensitive care of Dr. B. Lotocki and the wonderful staff of Ward 3B at St. Boniface General Hospital. Donations may be made to St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation.
